The buckle gives an easy way to tighten so it stays on in high wind. The chin strap is good.

I purchased this hat a few years ago to hike for several weeks at a time on the Pacific Crest Trail. I love the fold in the brim, the shade protection, and it doesn't bump my pack. I could do without the eyeglass holes, but would love this even more with a ponytail hole and additional color options.

This is the best hat ever! I love how it’s light and provides excellent cover and protection from the sun, is flexible in the back so it doesn’t bump into my backpack when it’s up higher on big trips, and is foldable! Stylish too. It gets a big 10.
