Hugely Disappointing Gift

I gave this as a Valentine's Day gift and was quite embarrassed by it. While it is a novel idea which I thought would be a fun food gift for my son and his family, it did not deliver on that front at all. It was hard and impossible to break apart with the "hammer" which was provided and simply made a huge mess when trying to eat it. My son said it tasted just OK. I had no idea this expensive confection would fail to deliver its promise of a fun treat for the whole family. I am surprised Macy's promoted this product. Never again!

We are so sorry that our fun treat did not meet your expectations. Our breakables are meant to be fun AND delicious. At nearly 3 pounds of chocolate, pretzels, cookies, M&Ms, sugar cones & loads of sprinkles, it is definitely meant to be hit firmly with the mallet in order to break it apart. The funstructions recommend keeping it in the plastic covering while breaking it apart so all the yummy pieces don't go flying. We do hope you'll give us another chance. This was the Best gift at a Party

I have purchased several of Sweet Secrets Chocolate items in the past & most recently the Medium sized Pizza for a Milestone Birthday Party. This product does not skimp on the ingredients either...it has generous amounts of chocolate & tasted so fresh. We even did a video clip when we broke up the pizza (they include the mallet)...it made the event a little more entertaining. I think this is a fantastic idea to celebrate an upcoming Graduate or to bring to a Graduation party.
