Comfort and Style

This boot is EVERYTHING!! The suede is a bit stain resistant so it always looks new. Love the 2 tone suede and leather style. The soles are heavy and durable, which I need because I’m a little hard on my shoes at times. Overall the perfect boot.

Well made, but, not for all occasions!

These boots do look terrific, and they are a well-made product, however, I wish Taft would be more descriptive about how these boots will do in real life. First, I can tell from just three or four days of wearing that these will take quite a bit of break-in. Ditto with a Rome boot that I bought in Blue. Once broken in, I imagine I’ll find how the fit will actually be and I’ll update. I don’t think these boots are going to work great and any kind of weather conditions. The leather souls are quite slippery, even with the addition of rubber accents. You need to understand this when you buy them. I almost slipped and fell several times, before I understood that these beautiful shoes will need breaking in to make them safer. Once broken in, I have a question about how they’re going to wear in Any conditions that are not dry. Beautiful…well designed and stitched, yes, durable?, the jury is out.

Great boot in a unique color.

These go surprisingly well with just about everything. The color is fantastic, and I’m thinking of darkening the toe caps with a little polish, or perhaps doing a burnish. They are a wonderful every day boot that are well-made and stylish.
