Low Quality Pearl

I knew I was taking a quality risk buying a Tahitian pearl piece online, but I’ve had luck with a couple of other online purchases and this seemed like a very good sale. I was expecting a few dimples and lower quality compared to the pieces sold in store, but this was a true disappointment. It doesn’t even look like a Tahitian pearl. I have three Tahitian pendants and two pairs of earrings. The pearl color on this ring doesn’t match any of my Tahitian pearls. Instead of the pretty gray-green color, or peacock color, this pearl is almost black. An ugly washed out black, with some big marks on the side. I’d post a picture, but don’t see a way of doing that. I’ll be returning it.
