Our wheat straw PP dinnerware is a material made with wheat straw fiber and food-safe polypropylene, making it truly unbreakable. Wheat fiber PP is a relatively new product that is growing in popularity as the PP content is greatly reduced by injecting wheat straw fiber.

    Not as environmentally friendly as advertised

    If you see a “PP” or a “poly-” ingredient, then the wheat straw item either has been made with a non-biodegradable plastic, or it won’t be able to be recycled without special care. So this is not environmentally friendly, and I'm returning it. Also, I don't know what happens when you cut something on them, they don't tell you, but I'm not going to try it to find out.

    Tarhong wheat pp dishes

    Beautiful heavy plastic that is made with wheat straw and is MICROWAVABLE. Bought another set!
