A New York Times Bestseller “Here are three things about this book: (1) It's . . . funny and romantic; (2) the mystery at the heart of the story will keep you turning the pages; (3) I have a feeling you'll be very happy you read it.” —Jennifer E. Smith, author of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight With the perfect mix of comedy and tragedy, love and loss, and pain and elation, the characters in Julie Buxbaum's Tell Me Three Things come to feel like old friends who make any day better. This YA novel is sure to appeal to fans of Rainbow Rowell, Jennifer Niven, and E. Lockhart. Everything about Jessie is wrong. At least, that's what it feels like during her first week of junior year at her new ultra-intimidating prep school in Los Angeles. It's been barely two years since her mother's death, and because her father eloped with a woman he met online, Jessie has been forced to move across the country to live with her stepmonster and her pretentious teenage son, and to start at a new school where she knows no one.

Great book!

Let me tell you three things about Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum. (1) This book is incredibly amusing and creative. (2) This book will bring you through a whirlwind of emotions. (3) You need to read this now! Tell Me Three Things is a romance novel, but not like any romance novel you may have read before. As soon as I turned the first page, I was immediately intrigued. Tell Mme Tthree Tthings isn’t just a romance novel; it's also part mystery. While trying to figure out who Jessie, the main character's secret lover is, you also take a trip through her love life and her difficult home life. The book takes the reader through Jessies’s grief journey and shows the hardships she faces while trying to recover from her mother’s death. Personally, I thought the author did an excellent job at portraying all the emotions Jessie went through as she had to move away from her hometown, go to a different school, and make new friends. In conclusion, if Ii had to read this book again, I definitely would and I recommend everyone to read it.
