Great Kitchen Accessory

I find this item to evenly distribute heat to pizza dough. Just make sure you read the directions.... Maximum heat is 400... Highly recommend it

Cracks when heated in oven

I make pizza from scratch on a regular basis, and up until now would just use a sheet pan which does the job. Received this The Cellar pizza stone as a gift, and after a few gentle uses, yesterday it cracked in half partway through cooking pizza at 500F as usual. Looking at the bottom of the "stone" I now see it says 400F maximum. This is laughable for something which is supposed to cook pizza. It's well-known that at least 500F is required to make a decent pizza, preferably quite a bit hotter. I'm sure how this product ever made it to market considering it can't do the thing its supposedly designed for. Not recommended.
