Classic case of opposites attract! The business of creating fairy tales is a lot more than granting wishes. After his grandfather's death, Rowan learns that if he wants to each his inheritance, then he is going to need to take on the role of Director of Dreamland - his billionaire family's iconic theme park. Zahra loves Dreamland and is passionate about bringing the founder's vision back to the park. Firm Rowan and creative Zahra clash when they first meet, but as circumstances continue to throw them together, a tentative alliance forms. Zahra was a fantastic and passionate romantic lead who captured my interest right from the start. Rowan is a bit of a stickler, but the glimpses of the true man underneath shine through. The Dreamland Corporation was established very well. It seems incomprehensible that a company is so overpowered and far-reaching, but there are definitely real-world comparisons. Zahra's energy was infectious, and I could understand why Rowan so quickly found himself drawn to her. Zahra's quick rise in the company also felt believable because of the mentorship with Rowan's grandfather and the natural talent that he helped foster within her. Rowan's complex and toxic relationship with his father was written in a way that felt so raw, but I do feel the explanation of what happened to change Rowan's once loving father into this toxic, abusive, drunk who is intent on sabotaging his son's success. I loved Rowan's hidden artistic nature. Seeing how his artistic nature was smothered, and then how Zahra brings out the artist in him, was one of my favorite plotlines. I typically dislike plots where the character is pretending to be someone they are not - in this case, Rowan's alias "Scott, However, I liked how it was utilized in this case. When the relationship between Rowan and Zahra starts to really kick off, Rowan's romantic gestures are stunningly pulled off. There were a few too many contradictions with the pacing of the relationship. The character development felt wishy-washy at times. A lot of obstacles between Rowan and Zahra felt unnecessary, and it started to irk me. I wish that we could have spent more time with all the brothers. I feel that more time would have improved my understanding of the overall dynamics of the family rather than just Rowan's perceptions of these dynamics. Zahra's family and friends brought a lot of positivity to the story, and it was nice that she had such a strong support system. Zahra had a strong backbone that I deeply admire.

Steamy love story
This was an ok book. Had a good ending, but did not like the MMC at the begging, I did like the evolution of the character. I want to read the other two books in the series just to see how life turns out for his brothers, but I am not in a rush to do it. I want to add that, it had a lot of spicy scenes.

Average
Good read, but it’s average. Not bad but not great. Currently reading the second book in the series and I like the second book better so far. But read this book first!

Magical Love Story
I just finished this amazing book! What a “magical” journey through “Fine Print” by Lauren Asher. I love the transformation of Rowan Kane’s from a controlling business man to a man with a soul. I instantly fell in love with Zahra’s fearless determination and unwavering cheerfulness amidst the chaos of Rowan’s dark world. This is truly a “grumpy/sunshine” romance if I had ever read one! With the books richly created characters, gripping plot twists, and sizzling romance, “Fine Print” is a magical masterpiece that has lingered in my mind long after the final page was turned.

Very eh
I didn't love or hate this; I just read it. It's a necessary evil to understand what's going on throughout the series, but it's very average. Cute, but average, nonetheless. If you're trying to get into this series, it peaks in book #2.

Disneyland meets Smut and I love it!
This is my first Lauren Asher book and she did not disappoint. I loved the grumpy/sunshine that’s happening here and the growth that both characters showed. They had fun together and made realizations about their lives and what they wanted out of them. The banter was amazing and the smut… HOT 🥵 I can’t wait to dig into Rowans’s brothers books!
