Quality, but not quite a "parka" in my opinion.

I don't really know why people are saying this is a warm coat. The coat is thin. There is a polyester fluffy interior, but it's thin, and the arms have a silky material which is very cold to the touch basically instantly as soon as you go outside. The arms have virtually zero insulation. The polyester fluff material on the interior is warm, but it's way too thin to make this coat a "parka" in my books. To me, a coat like this should make you comfortable at 0C with nothing but a t-shirt on underneath. This coat does not do that. You'd need some very extensive layering under this coat to feel comfortable at -20C. I bought this coat specifically for my morning commutes. It's cold when you first hop in your car in the morning. This coat will not do the job in -20C weather without putting on a hoodie underneath. Kinda a waste of money. It appears to be very well made though, if you're okay with layering underneath. I just don't think something with virtually zero insulating properties of its own should be called a parka. This is more of a "thick soft shell."

Great product

I’m a huge fan of north face, living in central New York a north face is worth the money because it’ll last you for years to come and winters can get cold. This jacket is warm but not to heavy, it’s great.
