I will continue to have one in my closet

Love the jacket. I've had several over the last 10-15 years and have loved them all. Since I'm only 5'3" the shorter length is ok, but someone tall might not

Not the Original Denali

They shortened the length significantly and are calling it "retro". I've had Denalis since the 90s and never had a cropped version like this. I do not like it at all. Not especially functional. I guess it's just a fashion statement now. Guess I'll have to stick to Patagonia for functional jackets.

I Still Love The Retro Denali!!

I read a lot of "disappointed" comments but I must DISAGREE!! I've been a fan of this jacket for years! The design is definitely different, especially in the sleeves where they created the "vents" but I LOVE the improvements. The shorter length is great! (I'm 5'3" - 160lbs) And I'm always hot so the vents are awesome for me. I'm still a fan!!! ❤️

I like the funky fit!

A lot of reviews say the fot is awkward but I happen to like it. I have been searching for a jacket that doesn't swallow me up, and this works great for my short torso and short frame. The underarm zippers are strange for me, but I guess it will help against overheating. I sized down to a small from my medium and it was still plenty roomy, but XS would've been too snug if I opted to wear a thicker layer underneath.

Size down!

I'm really liking NF cropped jackets as they fit my short torsoed frame well. I have an XL Denali but since I lost significant weight I have to buy new ones. This one fits super loose, so I sized down 1 size (I'm a medium, bought an S) but there's still room for a thick jacket. I could really have sized down to an XS but it's definitely a good buy!

CROPPED Length

It is obvious in the photos that this is a cropped length Denali. But why not state this in the description, TNF?? Many reviews comment on this. Disappointed in TNF.

Always wanted one of these jackets as a kid and decided finally to get one for nostalgia. The jacket feels warm and of good quality— per usual for North Face!
