I liked The Rise and Fall of The Dinosaurs

This book explained, like the title suggests how dinosaurs started out, evolved, and eventually died out. The author of the book Steve Brusatte also added a lot of information based on his personal experiences with being a young paleontologist. I enjoy his writing style and how he merges scientific facts with writing about his experiences and makes it feel a bit less like a textbook. To me it felt more comforting that way and made the book have a sort of life to it and continue to make me read more. Overall out of 5 stars I’d give this book 5/5, I really like how it was written and how the scientific information was organized but allowed some room for Steve Brusatte to add details on his experiences with those time periods and research. I’d recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in paleontology or just dinosaurs but might be a bit boring for younger readers seeing for not all of it is just fact but more experiences with being a paleontologist researching different time periods.
