Not My Favorite

Not the biggest fan of this story, Anthony is kind of mean to Kate a lot of the time and that seems very unhealthy. I liked some scenes better in the book than in the show. The 2nd epilogue was very entertaining and good. Overall good but not as good as the others.

The Viscount Who Loved Me

Anthony Bridgerton is to marry Edwina Sheffield to fulfill his duties as Viscount. Kate Sheffield, Edwina’s sister doesn’t want her to marry Anthony as he is a scoundrel and not right for her sister and does everything in her power to prevent the marriage from occurring. But soon Anthony and Kate learn to appreciate each other and start to fall in love. I really enjoyed this wonderfully written historical romance novel.

My favorite installment of the series

The weekend before the second season dropped on Netflix, I binged the entire first box set of Bridgerton books, including this one. This is the book upon which the second season is based. I think this one is my favorite of those first three. (Actually, I have read the first six and this one is still my favorite.) The banter between Anthony and Kate and all of their little scrapes had me literally laughing out loud. I also love Kate's dog. And how does one secure an invite to play Pall Mall with the Bridgerton family? I am pretty sure I will read this one again. 4.5 out of 5 stars for me.

Enjoyed another Bridgerton romance!

I enjoyed the back and forth between Anthony and Kate. I like how the books are pretty much solely based on one of the Bridgerton children and their look for love and a family of their own. I watched the series and really enjoyed it and this is a different story but still fun to read and become a part of that time in history. I look forward to reading the rest of the novels, but haven't decided if I want to wait until I watch the series seasons as they drop or read them before. Either way, I'm a fan of both!

Shocking

By shocking, I mean I have never been more shocked by the amount of people resigning themselves to this series as though forced to believe this author can write.
