Not the worst boot ever, absolutely middle of the pack.
I work in construction, that being said the boot itself is not the worst boot ever, keen chealse 6" work boot gets first prize for worst boot, and not nearly as good as red wings, the pice you pay is fair to the product, my back loop is damaged after a month of using it as a shoe horn, which i beleive is the intented use.... now I have to use an acutely shoe horn to get the left boot on. Maybe timberland will make the loops, and stitching more durable, wink wink nudge nudge.

These are great!
These are the only work boots I will ever wear! I need safety toes for my job and the composite toe makes them much lighter. I also like how easy they are to get on and off. I will wear these boots til I retire!

Exceeded expectations
I got these based on the pictures on the website and my expectations were exceeded. When the leather is further treated they look even better. I was just going to wear these as work boots but now I'm saving them for casual outings, parties, etc. They're well constructed, comfortable, and great looking. I wear 11.5 for these and my other Timberland boots (Bolden, Branston) and these have just a bit more space in the toe region. But not enough to make them loose. Very satisfied.

Will be buying again.
Exactly what I was wanting. I prefer the low cut of a Chelsea and need a safety toe for work. I like the steel shank, though I was skeptical at first. But turns out I like the rigidness for work. have gotten about 6 months out of them, which is a little more than typically get in my line of work. Could probably get more, but the tread is getting worn down.

Comp toe with metal shank...why?
One of the few composite toe chelsea boots that don't scream work boot. Too bad they mixed and match composite with a steel shank that trips off the metal detectors. I typically wear size 9 and had to buy a full size down for a good fit. Overall a comfortable boot though.
