Timex has been on a

Timex has been on a roll lately with fun throwback and re-issue watches but this is by far my favorite. The design is very unique with lots of visual interest and has a 90s vibe without feeling forced or dated. Most of the other throwback pieces lack the Indiglo feature that was such a big deal in the 90s (I still remember the commercials from when I was a kid) so I was happy to find it on this one. It’s extremely practical as well as being nostalgic. The slide rule bezel is large enough to be read without too much difficulty but is made less practical by the dive-style uni-directional action and click spring, although the action is pretty nice. They’d have been better off putting this into some of their Q models and leaving this one bi-directional and friction fit. It also has the trademark Timex Loud Tick, which I personally like but not everyone does. All in all few watches are as enjoyable to wear.
