Fun

My son was excited to get this, and it is a cool toy, but the foldable feature is slightly lacking. It is not a smooth motion to change to the vehicle, and requires some maneuvering. Otherwise, the toy IS cool, and my son has had fun playing with it.

Coming soon - Breakage

Yes, older kids will love transforming this toy from Optimus Prime to the vehcile, but after a couple of times of figuring out the moves, I believe this toy will loose its luster and they will move on to other toys. I cant bear to watch them when they do play with it because it seems like the parts will break off with each move. This toy is not for young children but suited for preteens of those who have spatial capabilities.

Fun toy!

I recently got this toy for my nephew and he seems to like it - it is very reminiscent of the old school transformers and he likes to change it from robot to gorilla - like two toys in one! He has played with it a lot and it has held up well.

Fun!

My 5 year old is really into transformers right now. This was a great gift for his 5th birthday. He was so excited and wanted to play with it right away. I like that this one doesn't have a ton of steps. It comes with directions which help, but they are kind of confusing. So its a little trial and error to get it transformed. We'll made and doesn't seem like it will break easily. My son loves playing with this.

Fun

This is such a fun toy. I have twin 5 year old boys that are just getting into liking Transformers. They love playing with this and have no issues making the toy transform. So far, so good when it comes to durability. They usually are pretty rough on toys, so I’m pleasantly surprised by how this toy has not been broken.

DOESN'T TRANSFORM EASILY

My son is a huge Transformers fan and he was very excited to play with this. Transforming this from Optimus Prime to a vehicle and vice versa is a bit confusing. The instructions to transform this to a vehicle are easy to follow but you really have to wiggle the pieces and push them in sorta hard to get everything to connect. Once it's all connected you have to push the top button twice and different pieces are supposed to open before you hit it and the rest transforms. Well that didn't happen. It took many presses as well as many hits to get this to fully transform. I would say that this would be great as a collectors piece but as a toy for a little one I wouldn't recommend it since it doesn't open and close like it should.

So fun!

We got this for my transformer loving little dude and let me say he was so excited to open it! I love that it is a great quality transformer and so easy to transform. It was such a hit that the little takes it everywhere and i mean everywhere.
