Perfect replacement for my old suitcase

I travel with this new rolling duffel international in a few weeks. But I can can already see this was the perfect replacement for my extra large rolling duffel that I've had for 20 years. I'm hoping this will last as long.

Wheels are out of alignment

When rolling the luggage, it veers to the left or right and is uncontrollable to handle.

Great bag

Used my first one for about 7 years while flying back and forth to SE Asia. (3) flights and travel while I was there. Finally decided to retire that bag, still works ok but wear is showing. For normal travelers should last many years past what I put mine through.

NOT COLLAPSABLE

THIS IS A GREAT LUGGAGE BUT I REALLY NEEDED A COLLAPSABLE SOFT LUGGAGE. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOR A SAILING TRIP WHERE I NEEDED A COLLAPSABLE SUITCASE SOFT.

Too heavy for 2 wheels

We decided to upgrade from a 2-wheeled carry-on to a medium check-in bag, and this 25" bag seemed the right size to easily maneuver during our travels. Unfortunately, there is not an option for a 4-wheeler spinner in this 25" model, and 26" is just too large. The result is a bag that is too heavy to comfortably move on 2 wheels and impossible to move with a backpack slid onto the handle. It has been an expensive mistake. Travelpro should have an option for 4 wheels. As is, this bag doesn't work and we cannot recommend it.

You loose a lot of space in this bag design. That rounded top part of the bag means you loose a good 3-4 inchs of packing space. Because this is a carry on you need all the space you can get in a bag. I returned it

Tips over when full

Nice bag but it won’t stand on its own when expanded and front pockets loaded. For me, that’s a deal-killer.

The best option

After looking at the weight, internal space, stability, cost, sturdiness, and color options of many carryon suitcases, I chose the Travelpro Bold. I am very happy with my choice. Many carryon bags have unneeded features which add to their weight and reduce internal bag space.
