I ordered two sets. One set came with three broken saucers which customer service was great about and willing to replace. But every piece has an extremely visible, thick, uneven green border around the edge. Many of the plates' prints were not centered. You definitely get what you pay for on these. Someday I'll upgrade to a better set that wasn't so obviously made in a cheap factory.
Don't Do It!
I wasn't expecting anything spectacular out of these dishes and the reviews were so mixed that I decided to take a chance and ordering them anyway. I have to say that the negative reports were correct and I will be taking this set back to Macy's tomorrow. I think the picture explain it all. Broken plates, scuffed up boarder and just overall - a terrible/tacky set of dishes.
Very nice holiday dishes
I ordered two sets, no breakage on delivery. These look fantastic on the table. Used them for Thanksgiving dinner, got lots of compliments on them. Very tough, bowels are wide and shallow so liquids cool quickly. You'll like them!
i am dissapointed (((
Assoon as i had read the reviews i ordered 1 set. When i opened the box with great expectations i saw a horrible, some terrible kind of grey, heavy, thick set. One piece was broken. Thats ok, because macys replaced for me. But anyway i am going to return the set. And i would not recommend this product. And for macys also i wouldn't recommend to sell this kind of items.
I am beyond disappointed
I have been looking for a nice set of Christmas dishes. I read the reviews and decided to order this Gibson set. I thought the price was terrific. I was so disappointed when I opened the box. The mugs are very shallow. The set seems small in general. The detail is very bad. I know there were open lines in the outer border but the sizes of the breaks are mismatched. I would be embarrassed to use these on Christmas morning. I will be taking them back to Macy's as soon as possible.
terrific Christmas
This is a nice china plate for Christmas. We replaced a very thick, heavy pattern we had been using. Very sharp and clear pattern. Matches the glasses

I got 2 sets of them and I'm thinking of getting one or two more. They are a good quality and pretty. Everything that I was looking for.
