a huge fan!

I bought this book for my cousin, it was her birthday and I know she is a huge Danny Trejo fan, she called me and said she was reading every page of this book, she was so happy.

Now every day is Trejo's Tacos day!

I bought this figuring it would be a fun read. I no longer eat meat or dairy and figured I wouldn't be able to make much without adjusting the recipes. What a pleasant surprise to find several vegan recipes in the mix. I almost immediately started cooking from it. I especially like that it includes recipes that haven't made the cut at the restaurant but that Danny and staff still believe in. Case in point: brown rice. It's one of the first things I made and it's phenomenal! Don't let the title fool you- it's so much more than tacos. The El Jefe Salad alone is worth the purchase. And as suspected, it's a great read!
