Awful item

The plastic coating will chip off right away. I understand that luggage can get cracks, dings, scratches. But this is awful. The luggage cannot be used any more as the hard pieces of plastic are a hazard Macys was also not willing to return the defective item because it was past their return policy

Surface design is a plastic sheet and comes off :(

I'm not happy that the coating on the outside is plastic and it chipped, and ripped the design right off the suitcase - I only used it for one trip. I could understand getting marked up, but not peeling off.
