Smells

Beautifully made furniture that smells so bad I regret the purchase. I have waited my entire adult life to purchase matching nightstands now I can’t stand to walk in my bedroom because of the smell!!!

Such a Stench

I purchased the bed first and thought to gradually add the remaining pieces. When I realized the set was closing out, I quickly ordered the nightstand. That's where the horror story begins: the nightstand was delivered and I noticed damage so I reported the damage. However, while waiting, I realized there is a horrible odor coming from this furniture. I've had it outside getting fresh air for five days and it STILL stinks. I'm told it's fire retardant but I've NEVER smelled something like this and cannot abide this odor inside my house. The bed did not smell. I don't know how Macy's will resolve this but I am super disappointed and dismayed by this experience. Although I wanted to complete the set, I am completely apprehensive about going to the trouble of moving everything and then not being able to share space with this horrible stench!
