Beautifully made furniture that smells so bad I regret the purchase. I have waited my entire adult life to purchase matching nightstands now I can’t stand to walk in my bedroom because of the smell!!!

I purchased the bed first and thought to gradually add the remaining pieces. When I realized the set was closing out, I quickly ordered the nightstand. That's where the horror story begins: the nightstand was delivered and I noticed damage so I reported the damage. However, while waiting, I realized there is a horrible odor coming from this furniture. I've had it outside getting fresh air for five days and it STILL stinks. I'm told it's fire retardant but I've NEVER smelled something like this and cannot abide this odor inside my house. The bed did not smell. I don't know how Macy's will resolve this but I am super disappointed and dismayed by this experience. Although I wanted to complete the set, I am completely apprehensive about going to the trouble of moving everything and then not being able to share space with this horrible stench!

We ordered two of these - his and hers….love them! Very well made and lots of drawer space, which was main goal. Nothing out of ordinary as far as new furniture smell. Just aired out drawers for a couple of days before using them. Love the versatile light color. White glove delivery was the best!

Be careful opening drawers. Mine broke the first day I opened it. I called to get someone to fix it and the manufacturer warranty people sent someone out to fix. He said I need new hardware. I never heard back from them. I followed up and they said they didn’t have the part. So after months of having a broken drawer my husband ended up going to Lowe’s for the part and fixed it in minutes. I should have done that from start instead of calling the customer service. I’m disappointed at how delicate this dresser is after spending $1300.

This bedroom set is even better in person. The quality and elegance is readily evident. I especially love the built-in USB outlets. I find the drawers in the dresser as well as the nightstand to be spacious. There is a mirror that can be purchased with the dresser. It's large and elegant. I'm so pleased with this set.

I ordered the Trisha Yearwood dresser and nightstand in Dogwood. The color doesn’t quite match the online swatch which is somewhat understandable. The dresser is pretty and seems functional however, the interior of the drawers smell horrendous. Friends have told me it smells like urine or dead fish. I am highly disappointed.
