Bunk bed

The wood holding up mattress cracked the first week. Also whenever the kids climb the ladder, the bed makes a cracking noise. I had to return it because this bed wont last over time due to how poorly it's made.

CHEAP DANGEROUS GARBAGE!

We ordered this bunk bed for our daughters and within two weeks the entire base was cracked and broken. Macys sent us a replacement, and this time, within two months, the base broke AGAIN and fissures began cracking all across the top of the footboard. This is especially dangerous, because a child's bunk bed of this cheap quality could easily collapse on top of the child in the bottom bunk. DO NOT ORDER--it is a hazard!!!

All unfinished slats.

The slats are ALL UNFINISHED..NOT EVEN POLYURETHANE!! We had to do all of that so that our Grandchildren would not get splinters!!! Also, a part was missing. We were told to send all of the bed back...we were already in the process of putting it together..only needed a 12 " part...our boxes and all pieces were laid out...no way could we do that...Macy's was not helpful with this..so we made it work without the missing piece ..the bed is great..took us 9 hours to assemble..there is a four digit number marked in pencil at the top of the ladder...we tried to erase it..tried Mr. Clean eraser...we cannot get it off..
