strap design breaks easily

The very cute rope/piping around the strap broke in just a couple weeks of use. it's not fixable either. I don't typically swing my handbag around so that it would break. I most likely cannot return this bag; I would not purchase anything from this designer again nor would I recommend anyone else purchase from them. it's too bad because I received compliments about this bag.
