I love everything about this backpack except the size. I bought it with hopes of using everyday as a backpack purse; just found it a bit large for my use. I would have preferred it to be 1-2 inches smaller in height and length. Also, if it had a convertible strap from backpack to crossbody it would be totally awesome! I already have a fave tote for travel so, unfortunately, I had to return. However, this would be great for travel, school or work!

Not User-Friendly
I purchased this "convertible" backpack/shoulder bag bc the hardware on my other Vera Bradley backpack/shoulder bag broke. While this Change it Up bag is roomy, it is not very user-friendly, and I am constantly fumbling/opening/closing looking for my keys, cellphone, and wallet. It needs a few easy-access slide-in pockets (without magnets or zippers). This bag truly drives me crazy and I can NOT use it anymore.

Form and Function!
I was debating between the Change It Up and the Hadley backpack. I was looking for something lightweight, secure, easy for traveling handsfree. I went with the Change It Up for the slightly larger capacity and ability to wear it as a handbag. The handle does NOT stick up when wearing as a backpack, mine flops over away from my back and I don't notice it at all. The leather handle is also quite comfortable on the shoulder. You can also button-close the corners down to make the bag a little smaller if you like. The straps are pretty comfortable, adjustable, and thinner than the Hadley backpack. I love all the compartments. My iPhone 6s Plus (with a thick case) fits perfectly in the top flap with the zipper, the back exterior slip pocket, the exterior discrete side compartment, and of course the main compartment. I feel that the magnetic flap over the main compartment also makes it extra secure. I'm going to enjoy traveling and sightseeing with this backpack!

Change It Up Backpack leather handle
Great size, llLeather handle has no use. Jabs in back and neck. Removed and put on another strap from an old VB bag. Now it is comfortable. Suggest VB do a redesign. My traveling partner did the same process. Exceptionally customer service by salesperson.

Love this bag!!
I had to have it!! And I love it. It's lightweight and the pockets organize my charger and small items. It holds all my necessities. I wish I had a little more room for extras..

This backpack is the perfect size for travel and touring.
I gave this only 3 stars as I found the leather hand strap annoying. It stands up and cannot be adjusted when wearing the backpack. Currently, I am looking for a small nylon strap which can be attached or detached. I will then remove this annoying strap. Otherwise, I like the backpack very much.

I don't kno what the negative reviews are about! I love this bag!!! It's such a great size not too big not too small so cute and lightweight! So happy i bought it hope they make more patterns!!!
