Beware of drop in quality

I am not one to write reviews, especially more than a year after purchasing this bag but I have been extremely dissatisfied with the drop in quality and I feel I need to share my experience. I have made previous purchases of Vera Bradley bags over the years and I always felt that they were good quality for the price and held up well to wear and even washing (which you can't do with many purses). This bag was much different. I noticed right away that the bag felt different than previous purchases, particularly in the poor quality zippers and linings. The bag felt cheap when I bought it and I was hoping that I was misreading the signs. It turns out I was NOT. One year in and the bag has already frayed down to the lining where the bag and shoulder strap meet additionally the fabric lining the shoulder strap has frayed and fallen off leaving the white webbing exposed. This was a huge drop in quality that I am used to from this company and I would not recommend this bag.

This is the perfect size cross body bag. It fits everything I need. I love the zippered compartments!

I love this purse and pattern. One thing would be better and that is outside zippers should be black and like zipper on top.

A great buy with tons of quality!

Absolutely love this bag! Purchased one similar to it 6 years ago & just recently showing wear from daily use. The fabric of the this new bag is close to my previous bag & can be used with most clothing. Particularly like the metal zippers; heavy duty. So much space, too! Just a great bag for everyday!

My new favorite crossbody bag

This pattern is way more gorgeous in person and I would definitely recommend getting this pattern because it reminds me of fall and I love the sapphire blue color and it's totally worth the money!!
