Tried and True

Beautiful well made backpack, I use it for my carry on, on airplanes. Very well made and beautiful colors.

I love it but

I've had my backpack for over a year now (not this color) and sometimes I use it for class and other times just to put stuff in. It has not started ripping or anything of that sort. I love it but it's supposed to be water repellent. It's not. That was a key factor for me.

Liked, but not waterproof!!

I love this backpack, it has so many pockets for everything and great storage! But it rained while I was walking to class and when I was taking things out, some stuff was wet! The things closest to the outside were SOAKING wet!

I never carried a backpack before, but I love my backpack.

I used it to go to my grandsons football game and it held my rain coat, hoodie and wallet. Also my cellphone and had plenty of room left.

Lighten Up Backpack - Fantastic Quality!

I bought my daughter a new run-of-the-mill backpack at the start of her freshman year of high school. I hoped it would last her the year but It didn't make it through the first semester. A friend of hers had a Vera Bradley backpack and we really liked the look of it, so for Christmas that year I bought her the Lighten Up Large Backpack in Midnight Paisley. I'm not sure if they make the large anymore, or even the Midnight Paisley pattern, but the Lighten Up backpack is a true workhorse. It holds a ton! She's the kind of kid who has a different binder for every class and takes every book home every night, so it has been stuffed full and tossed around every school day. It is not only in great condition, it still looks as good as the day she got it. She just started her senior year and I'm sure this will take her to graduation. Next year I will probably get her another to take to college but I'm sure this will go with her to use as a spare.

I would definitely buy this product again!

This is my daughter's 2nd backpack from Vera Bradley and she absolutely loves them. The first backpack lasted her 5 years!!!!
