Smells horribly

The smell from the headboard is soooo horrible!!! I couldn’t even sleep the first few days, so I had to air it out in the garage for a wk and sprayed it down with Lysol but the smell still won’t go away. It’s been 1.5 months and the smell is still bothering me. Then two weeks of sleeping on it, a button located far right from the headboard fell off. Macy’s, please help. Product is not what I expected from Macy’s but def what I expected from the price I paid for it....cheap product.
