Not great -- but great for the price

I've got a decent stereo setup in the house, but wanted to have something with a smaller profile in my office. I had previously had two different Crosley suitcase players, and this is an absolutely exponential upgrade in terms of both durability and sound quality over those. If you're looking for a turntable for under $100, this is one of the best ones you're likely to get. Yeah, it won't compete with "real" components, but it's a good buy.

Dead after only a few uses

I bought this after inheriting a set of old family records and was so excited. The unit worked well...for less than a few days. Then it started to slow down and then, dead. The unit no longer powers on at all. $100 down the drain. Do not buy at all. Save your money and get something better.
