I love the mugs and the small plates I dislike the shape of the bowls and one of the mugs was broken when it arrived. I want to send bits back and keep bits but as it only has one product number, this becomes difficult

Simple and lovely
I love this new set of dishes for everyday use. Purchased in the natural white color to coordinate with my kitchen, but the blue is even prettier. The shape of the dinner and salad/sandwich plates is simple but lovely, as is the salad/pasta bowl. All items fit very nicely in the dishwasher racks. I prefer porcelain dinnerware because it’s lighter weight but sturdy, and, as another reviewer mentioned, this set is a little bit heavier than most porcelain. I think that’s because it’s a little thicker. It looks similar to stoneware, but is lighter weight and thinner to take a little less shelf space, and the shiny finish cleans up very easily. I’m very happy with it and expect to use it for a long time.

Timeless and Classically styled dishes
I've had Mikasa stoneware dishes for over 38 years and loved them, but was sick of them. I switched to Fiestaware because I thought they are timeless. But, they were really heavy, and didn't fit in my dishwasher....and they weren't oven safe like my old dishes. I searched and searched and found these dishes and I LOVE THEM. They feel smooth, and look timeless....even the blue which is the color I chose because I fell in love with the color and it wasn't quite as timeless as white or off white like my Mikasa dishes. I realize many who reads this, will disagree with me about blue versus white dishes , but I was first attracted to the blue dishes so that's what I got. Anyway - these dishes have the feel of a nicer quality dish/like china but they are more durable. What more can someone ask for. OH - they fit perfectly in my dishwasher...big plus. I wasn't sure the soup/pasta bowl was deep enough, but its perfect.

Simple, clean, attractive.
Nice medium weight. Nice ivory shade. Bowls are way too shallow, however.
