A beautiful, sleek, modern bowl. However, I bought it to go with the Anmut gold dinner plate and it just doesn’t look right without the gold. I can’t seem to find the Anmut gold version anywhere so I may just end up keeping these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this rim soup plate to use for salad, soup, pasta and stew. It has a generous bowl and nice wide flat rim. It's crystal bright in that Villeroy white. I am using it with my old Villeroy and Boch china set, which is the same color and also simple. Combining the old with the new Anmut updates the total look in a very contemporary, minimalist way.

Love this bowl style, because you can place your cornbread or crackers on the rim. It's shallow, so your stew doesn't hold too much heat. Nice presentation for spaghetti, too. Just looking at it, you would never guess it can hold two full ladles of soup. Great quality bone china.

These Villeroy & Boch soup bowls are beautiful, are made of fine china and made in Germany. They are deep enough to hold an appropriate amount of soup. Perfect and sophisticate design and not heavy at all.

I ordered several pieces of Villeroy & Boch's Anmut (means Grace) Dinnerware collection when I moved into my new place. The bone china is exquisite, and I absolutely love using the plates, bowls, and mugs. Highly recommend V & B in general.

My husband and I registered for Villeroy & Boch's Anmut for our wedding over a year ago, and I can't even describe how pleased I am with our choice. We have since completed the entire set, everything from tea cups to pasta bowls to platters, and each piece is really beautiful. Aside from the great, classic shape and exquisite creamy white color, my favorite thing about this set is how light all of the pieces are (while still being durable). I am very petite, but can still pick up a stack of 12 plates and place them on a high shelf with no problem -- that's not the case with some large ceramic plates. This was a crucial factor in why I chose a bone china to use for everyday. Every piece is great, and even though these were more expensive on the front end, they've held up beautifully and we intend to use them for decades!
