a good size bowl, not too big, not too small. Could be a soup bowl, a pasta bowl or a salad bowl. very versatile! Love this collection.

Its for a medium salad, not a huge salad. I used it for a cooked beet salad and it was very nice on the table. it compliments the plates and the soup bowls very nicely

I just love the uniqueness of New Wave. Some of the plates/bowls are hard to stack or to fit into standard cabinets, but it's worth the trouble of figuring it out! I started with a couple of serving pieces and now have a full dinnerware set, too. Our kids basically grew up with these dishes. Prices direct from Villeroy & Boch are the best around.

I cant seem to stop buying pieces to add to my collection of Villaroy & Boch New Wave. Today I found the appetizer plates and I fell in love with them. This is one of the prettiest, sexiest place setting I have every seen. I simply love it. I also bought from the same manufactures the Obi stemware and absolutely completes my table. Thanks for designing something so unique.

I love this salad bowl! It is part of the New Wave Villeroy dinner set which I had on my bridal registry. It is the perfect size for my husband and I or for a few dinner guests. Great quality, safe for everyday use but also stylish and elegant for special occasions. I love this piece and the entire collection. I would definitely recommend it!
