I'm an advocate of V&B dinnerware in general. They make solid products but they are not interchangeable among their different styles, even if the color looks like it matches. For example, this bowl is listed as "white" but it's actually off-white with a greyish hue. That's fine if you already own this set and you're looking for a replacement piece, but if you own other "white" dinnerware that's actually white, these will stick out like a sore thumb. On the plus side, they hold up on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and in the microwave, as expected.

Good size bowl giving a lot of surface area for soup not to stay too hot before enjoying. Not exceptionally deep, but good size diameter.
