salt & pepper

Sprinkles just enough salt and pepper. Very stylish too. Love Villeroy & Boch. Wish they gave you extra plugs on the bottom. they detach completely and can see myself dropping one under stove or someone misplacing will refilling.

The question: form vs function

Hands down the shakers are beautiful and compliment the collection nicely. I returned the item because it was not functional. If you look closely, the salt shaker has one dispensing hole and the pepper has only two holes. I BARELY had any salt come out of the salt shaker so I didn't bother with the pepper. I'm not heavy handed when sprinkling salt and pepper, so I can't recommend the set beyond their aesthetic appeal.

Very attractive but not useful

Not at all useful, the openings on top are WAY TOO SMALL. I ordered two sets and with both sets the holes were too small to allow the contents to shake out at a reasonable rate. Returned with regrets.

Love New Wave

I cant seem to stop buying pieces to add to my collection of Villaroy & Boch New Wave. Today I found the appetizer plates and I fell in love with them. This is one of the prettiest, sexiest place setting I have every seen. I simply love it. I also bought from the same manufactures the Obi stemware and absolutely completes my table. Thanks for designing something so unique.

My "New Wave" Dinnerware

When I saw this dinnerware it was like love at first sight. However, when I got home and my daughters saw it we were fighting like if we were fighting for our love at first sight man LOL We love it and I can use all types of colors to decorate around it!
