Do not buy Macys will not stand behind purchase

My husband wore this chain for less than one month and the solder at clasp broke. Fortunately he did not lose the 18 KT piece I bought the chain for. Due to COVID I did not get back to Macys for over the "one month" allowed (???) since i did not purchase their "protection program" was told nothing they will do (was asking them to repair). Have been a very loyal Macys customer, Platinum card member-shocked that their usual policy so different in jewlery. By the way chain selling for less than I paid for it now. I will no longer purchase jewlery at Macys.
