Extremely poor quality

Purchased this ring at a heavy discount, so did not expect perfection, but was stunning initially. My mother received so many compliments. the ring quickly tarnished and is unfixable as the metal is unable to be cleaned and therefore cannot be replated with white gold even with though initially advertised as white gold plated. extremely disappointed and glad I didn't pay more.
