I love it now but I had questions and problems at first. The customer service from Willow was not helpful at all. I was definitely prepared to return the coffeemaker based solely on their response. I'm glad I didn't, but it was a close one, and they really need to do something about how they respond to questions/complaints.

Bottled water
The instructions state to run water through it a few times before brewing coffee. I did not realize the part that holds the water is not detachable and I used sink water because I didn’t want waste my bottled water and now there’s hard water buildup in there and it’s very difficult to clean. Unfortunately, the part that holds the water is not detachable otherwise I would not have an issue with that particular part. I do not like the fact that I can’t see or clean inside the coffee maker because it’s likely there could be some mole buildup at some point and I like to stay ahead of that and clean it but there’s no way to actually clean the inside parts. This type of coffee maker is something that I would probably only keep for a year at this point because there’s no way to clean it or assess for mold or other toxic buildup. This coffee maker is a good idea, but the structure of it is problematic. This is not something that can be kept long-term since you can’t detach/ clean the parts.
Pretty impressive
I own about 11 coffee machines and 3 grinder i kinda review coffee machines quite often. Now this was actually pretty impressive to me mine came undamaged packed well no issues with delivery it actually comes with a stainless filter as well as a clip for bamboo and or a cone filter of your hearts desire!!!! I like the eco friendly some peace of mind is always a plus. I do believe it wasn't intended to be used with negligence as the glass is a tad on the thin side but given the proper attention should easily serve its purpose. Even though I got mine on sale id easily pay full price for this unit and start taking a peek at other willow products in the future this was a personal review as I was scrolling macys website saw the machine and said oh interesting and purchased it on my own. I haven't brewed with it yet as ive pre hand washed the glass and need to run a few cycles though before brewing i dont see any negatives at this time idk I myself kinda like it!! very nice automated pour over coffee maker
This is an innovate take on making a pour over style coffee. The only thing it's missing is a way to control the temperature of the water coming down. It only has 2 settings hot and cold brew. It takes a little getting used to because of the markings of water don't line up to what I have been used for bean to water ratio.

so pretty
Just used this for the first time this morning. I bought it only because of the design. It is so pretty. It also makes good coffee. The pitfalls are that you cannot get a cup of coffee until it's fully brewed as it does not have the pause mechanism built in. The other thing is that after the first hot cup of coffee your next cup will be cold and you must zap it in the microwave to be hot again. Because I love the looks of it, it's a keeper....
A bit too hot
I purchased this because I didn’t want to spend $350 for the Chemex Ottomatic. The Willow looks almost identical and my Chemex carafe works with it! My only issue is the water is too hot for a proper brew. The coffee comes out much more acidic than when I would use my pour over kettle.
