These are super soft and are more opaque than regular stockings just as picture shows. Not as opaque as tights but it’s nice to find a thigh high stocking like this that can be worn in situations when tights are more called for. Stay up all day no issues. I’m curvy, 5’7” and 220 lbs, and the largest size works great.

I've owned these velvet deluxe stockings for years. I have invested in 5 pairs that I rotate wearing each winter. They last for multiple seasons! My 5 pair have lasted 3 years and counting. These stockings are hands down the best on the market. I'll never go back to wearing ordinary stockings. These truly stay up. Men love them. They are sexy and convenient. You never have to take your stockings down to use the lavatory. The stockings do not run. Ever. So the description of the other review doesn't make sense. Either the person got a defective pair, or they are mistaking these for an inferior brand. If you repeatedly walk in them without shoes on (who does that in stockings?), eventually you will wear a hole. But they will still not run.

Arrived with runs. Did not get to wear at all. Will try to return/exchange.
