Not for muscular calves
The top of the boot was quite skinny, and it is hard to tuck pants into the boots!

Not for low temps
So basically these are a very “fitted” pair of rain boots. They are comfortable around the ankle with enough wiggle room for high arches like me and are snug around the calf. BUT they are not low temperatures. They have no inner lining so I’m freezing my toes if I’m out in the snow too long. Oh and they have very little grip/traction so not the best for long walks on frozen ground.

Terrific boots!
This is the third pair of these boots I have purchased. They are SO comfortable!! I wear them all 4 seasons & they keep my feet warm and dry in winter and cool in summer. I cannot go through life without them!

Very slippery from snow to cement
I would give this boot a higher rating if the tread didn't hold so much snow which becomes dangerously slippery on cement garage and barn floors. I've owned Mucks for many years and never had this problem with my other Muck boots.

Are they the same?
Was really surprised how light weight these artic boots are. I have had them in the past and they were much heavier. I can’t give an honest tating at this point because I haven’t had snow or very cold weather I surely hope they are warm!

Fell apart after a year.
I bought these for mucking horse stalls. They’re very comfortable and I like the height. Unfortunately, they literally fell apart along the sole of both boots and the glue came undone on the sides a year later... For how much they cost they should have lasted for years

Held up to Arctic Conditions
Wore these on a June 2025 trip to the Arctic where I hopped in and out of small boats into pounding surf, as well as using them on snowy trails. My feet stayed completely dry and the traction kept me stable. They were also comfortable to wear. I highly recommend these. boots.
