Sacrificing function for style

I got these before my second season guiding in Alaska. Given I wore these on almost every trip for 5 months, I expected more from a brand called Xtratuff. They began to come unglued on the sides of the soles after 2 months & are now allowing water in. Other friends with salmon sisters boots have experienced similar issues. As a hardworking, outdoors-woman, I do not want to sacrifice my feet/wellbeing for fashion & style. I spose from here on out I’ll try men’s. #disappointed

Love the salmon sisters boot

After 6 year I figured it was time for a new pair of boots. In the fall and winter I wear them almost every day. They are an investment but totally worth it. There is still life in my old boots so for now I pasted them down even with the wear, plus I got a good deal when I bought my new pair. Win win!

Great boots!

Great boots! Feet are comfortable even after long days. Treads ensure steady footing. Only complaint - the shaft of the boot is not made for a working woman's calves. Luckily I like showing off the inside design so I keep them folded.

We want cool prints!

I got these because the men’s boots don’t come with cool prints. Lame. We want octopuses too! But a size 11 woman’s works great for a size 9.5 men’s foot.

Great boots
