pressure cooker

After using this product for a few months I started using it and closed the lid and waiting for it to start steaming and out of the blue the lid blew off burning my partner and I fell trying to get out of the way. It blew contents all over the kitchen, walls , ceiling, floor. I’m afraid to use it anymore. I’m going to return it !

The pressure Valve did not work properly. it doesn't matter how I tried to switch to either high or low it does not keep the Pressure it keeps leaking just like when done and you release the pressure. what can I do to keep the pressure in so it works like a pressure cooker.
