Beautiful Cake Holder

Love this. Used it for a naked cake tinted grey for a baby shower. Looked great on the Dessert Bar.

Love it

It's a beautiful marble cake plate and it looks much more expensive then it is! But it is very heavy, like drop it on your toe and break your foot kind of heavy. That's my only drawback, otherwise totally love it!

Beautiful marble, arrived broke.

Huge potential to be a great product. However they are attaching the two pieces with inadequate glue. Arrived in two piece and only where glued. Waste of time!

I received this as a shower gift. I just took it out of the box for he first time since receiving it and it is split in 2 pieces

Arrived broken, twice

The dish portion arrived detached from the pedestal so I requested a replacement. The replacement cake stand also arrived detached in the same exact manner.

Arrived broken into 3 pieces

I planned to use this cake plate on my wedding day for our wedding cake because it is such a beautiful marble. When I received it in the mail, I didn't open it immediately, I left it on the table for a few weeks. I opened it about three days before my wedding, only to find that it had been broken sometime between the warehouse and my home, into three pieces. The packaging was secure, so it must've been dropped or broken to begin with. At that point, all I could do was laugh because I was almost out of my mind as a bride-to-be. I returned this item and purchased two other styles of cake plates just in case. I recommend purchasing this item in-store so you can check that it is all in once piece before taking it home. I would not recommend buying online and having it shipped to your home in case it breaks.

Not impressed

I own other marble items and in comparison this marble isn't as polished; it had a powdery residue on the surface and lacks luster. Also, mine arrived with a big yellow glue stain on the stand. Macy's did a great job in packaging this carefully.
