How to install curtain rods?
Here are some general guidelines:
1.    Measure the width of your window. Allow for 2 to 3 inches for when the curtains are open, and make your mark.

2.    Next, mark 4 inches above the window. If you want to add extra height to your room, mount the rod closer to the ceiling.

3.    Place the bracket at your desired height and width. Use your level to make sure things are even. Fill in the screw holes with a pencil.

4.    Remove the bracket, and drill where you have made the pencil marks.

5.    Place plastic wall anchors into your drill holes.

6.    Align the bracket holes with the installed anchors.

7.    Using a screwdriver, attach the bracket to the wall with screws.

8.    Slide your curtains on the rod and hang them onto bracket. If you’re using a double rod, then hang the curtains closest to the wall first.

9.    If your curtain rod has a finial (decorative knob), attach it to the end of your rod.

10.    Enjoy the view!

Pro Tip: Make sure you have these items handy: a measuring tape, pencil, window hardware (rods, brackets and screws), drill, screwdriver and level.
