Phewwww!

I bought the coffee table and 2 side tables and they were delivered 2 days ago. There is a strong chemical smell which is nearly overpowering if I don't keep the doors and windows open (can't do that at night of course). I soon realized why: the table top is dark and grooved. I was using a wood cuticle stick to push something out of the groove, and the stick came out with a dark sludge on it. Whatever antiquing stuff they used in the grooves (which is black), it is nowhere near dry. I wonder if it ever will be. The dark sludge stained my thumb and forefinger when I wiped it off the stick. I looks and smells like black shoe polish. I really hope it dries soon. Shouldn't this have been "cured" before leaving. the factory?

I purchased table back April 12th and have had no further communication from Macy as of yet.

Perfect sized end tables

Purchased these along with the matching console and hutch. They came partially assembled (the legs and lower shelf had to be attached to the table top which already had the drawer installed) and they were ready to go in a few minutes. They appear sturdy and well made. They match the other pieces beautifully.

Love the collection!

We purchased a square end table, 2 small round end tables, the 85” tv console and the rectangular coffee table. It is all very well made, sturdy and absolutely stunning in person! Even better than we expected at a really great price! So happy with our purchase.
