Oversized style not for tall thinner frame

I’m tall (5’10-1/2”) and broad shouldered, ling waisted and with a narrower torso. I was attracted by the longer length of this jacket, since most are too short (and short waisted) on me. I purchased my regular size (L) using the size chart. This jacket’s shapeless, oversized fit and very long length did nothing for me. It may look attractive on someone with more of an apple shape (which I don’t have.) I was looking for a blazer I could wear for both dress and casual wear. It didn’t look right on me for either. Returned.
