Strange seam placement

Why would they position a seam down the front of the dress instead of the sides. Loved everything about the dress except the mismatched pattern in front. So disappointing. Returned.

Beautiful dress!!

The thin texture light weight, but enough fabric you don’t need to be worry about a breeze, also you do not need to use slip/underskirt length is exactly as picture , 5 feet tall ,115 weight, 36 size top bra, size 4 is perfect
