I expected better…

Incredibly SLOW for a brand new computer! Very disappointed with the performance so far. Took hours to get G-Mail to work, received various error messages, while the whole time it was running fine on my iPad and iPhone. Not impressed. Also not impressed that it comes with McAfee already pre-installed and there was no way to opt out of it when I first started using the new computer (I’m a longtime Norton user).

Good for a college student.

I got this for college as I needed a 15.6in laptop that was a modern AMD system amd it has 16gb of ddr4 ram with one sodimm slot for future upgrade if necessary and 1TB of ram on an M.2 NVME thats replaceable. I dont mind the screen, its 1080p so not the highest resolution but not bad either. The Ryzen 7730U has a good 8 core 16 thread cpu for handling tasks easily enough. The built in gpu is kinda not great for demanding games, but for watching 4k YouTube and stuff like that its more than adequate. Maybe if you wanted to play some basic games it would be better. Battery life seems ok to me, I wish it had a bigger battery cause it only has a 43WH battery apparently. Like at least 60WH would be nice.
