Let me start out by saying I absolutely LOVE this set. It's exactly what I always wanted and is truly so stunning in person. They have some weight to them, but are not too heavy and really seem like they will last if properly taken care of. That being said, delivery of these gorgeous plates has been an absolute joke! I don't know if the fault lies with Macys or Portmerion, but the way they are being packaged/quality control is INCREDIBLY inefficient. We got the dinner plates and stacking bowls as a wedding gift and one in each package was completely broken. Went to Macys to return and new bowls came fine but the next set of plates had 2 sunflowers and no blue hydrangea. Sounds silly, but it's all part of a set so it matters. Returned again and the now 3rd set of dinner plates we received came with a shattered blue hydrangea plate. We have now ordered what will be our 4TH SET of dinner plates hoping and praying that this one is unbroken and all flowers are present....

These are very pretty and lovely quality however the description says they hold 15oz of liquid. In reality they can functionally hold 12oz at best. I was trying to match some other discontinued Portmerian bowls, and hoped these could be added into my set, but these are way too small. I am disappointed at how off their description was.

Plates smaller than expected and trim was not green like the other ones in my set. Big disappointment!!
