A very disatisfied customer

Ihave ordered from Macy's many times and have been completely satisfied. but I ordered this table and chairs (it stated it was "in stock" and would "ship in 2 to 3 business days). I had emails acknowledging my order and stating my order was being processed. After seven days I was sent an email that my order was canceled. When I called Macy's I was told this item is no longer available. But now when I look on Macy's online shopping, I see that this item shows that it is still available. How can this be? I was told that Macy's could not do anything about it because it was a third party vendor. I am 70 years old and have had a Macy's card forever. I ordered from Macy's because I thought I could trust that my order would be received and processed. My husband and I recently moved to be closer to our daughter because he is going through cancer treatments. The table and chairs were going to be perfect for our new home. How can this item still be on the website????
