Was very hopeful

Taffeta fabric was a surprise for me, and certainly elevates the formality of the dress. Feels nice with a very nice hand (fabric term). Colors are lovely. Am not keeping and not giving 5 stars as the ruching at the waist did not behalf well for me. In this case, it added bulk. The solution might have been to size down, which might have flattened out the folds, but I don't currently have the time and patience, and had another option that fit perfectly. This dress is definitely worth a try.

As cute and flattering as the picture!

This dress is as cute and flattering as it is in the picture. I got many compliments at the party with a tropical theme. I'm 5'6" 135 lbs. and got size 6. The fit was perfect on top but slightly wide through the hips for me. I also wanted it a bit shorter so got it tailored for both. When I walked into the tailor shop the women all exclaimed "what a beautiful dress"! The fabric and lining material are rich. You'll love this dress.
