defective. obviously altered and worn before

As soon as I opened the package, the whole room spelled like perfume. I initially thought it was the samples that they throw in bag but none were for perfume. Trying it on, I knew it was the dress. I thought it was odd that my usual size didn't fit until I took it off to fold it and noticed the stiching lines. This dress was altered and most likely worn. Macys should check returns before reselling. No way AP would have sent a dress out like that. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately

Overall it’s a beautiful dress. The colors are vibrant on a very soft black shiny material but the quality of the material is very poor. The thread of the material pulls and results in streaks of white lines running down the shinny black material. I love the design, the texture and the fit so I tried reordering it several times but they all had the same defect. This dress would have easily gotten a 5 star review if it weren’t for this issue.

Do not buy

Mine also within hours of wearing started getting white runs through it in random places. I returned one already that I ordered and it had these runs in it but did not realize this would happen again. Very unfortunate because I really liked the dress.

Floral slip dress

Beautiful dress and fit, and very comfortable, however, I only had it on for a few hours and the material has a white dotted line on black part right in front. I did not catch it on anything either. I also notice it starting near the arm area as well. And the dress had plenty of room so not sure if this particular one was defective or it's the material.

Pretty But……

This dress is so pretty!! It came with all these white threads showing! I took it to a tailor and they could not fix it!! Have to return sadly!

Beautiful

I’m regularly a size 2 or 4, I decided to order the 4 in this dress and it is a perfect fit. It’s been a long time since I’ve put on a dress that perfectly fit me and I have no complaints . I am 5’ 6” and 130 lbs. I have a small waist, so if you have any extra weight around your waist, you may need to go up a size. It is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to wear it for an upcoming wedding celebration in Mexico.
